The four lessons must be used within four months.
“TRAINING FOR DURATION”: 24 private lessons to be used within one year.
Liz will work one-on-one with your pup, 1-2 times/wk or spread them out to every other week. Great for the working peeps. This package works with the dog as an individual. The consistency of training will help guide your young dog through developmental changes. The familiarity of the handler (trainer) can help a newly adopted dog become more comfortable in their environment. The knowledge that Liz brings to the table can help your scared/timid dog feel more comfortable. Your dog and the handler will build a constructive working relationship. At least four of the 24 lessons should involve the family. $2700

Who is utilizing this service through Tree Frog Farm? New puppy people. Those seeking pre-puppy consultation. Recent adopters. People looking for behavioral consultation. People with dogs that have a strong car aversion. Distance learning works remarkably well. Clients thus far have Zoomed in from: DownEast Maine, Arizona, New Mexico, California, NYC, Colorado, Vermont, Chicago, and Florida.
For in person training, video links will be sent via email, to compliment the days lesson.
Greater than 24 hours notice of a prepaid lesson is required otherwise, the missed lesson will be deducted from the remaining scheduled lessons. Cancelled unpaid lessons (within 24 hours) will be noted and a deposit will be required to reschedule.
Private lessons are typically held at Tree Frog Farm. Liz can come to your home if needed. There is a travel fee for in-home lessons, the amount of which depends on travel time. If you provide your address, we’ll give you a travel quote. There is a $10 minimum for travel.
Private lessons with handler & dog

Private lessons are great for people with variable work schedules, reactive dogs, full family involvement, perfecting handling techniques, behavior modification, etc. Private lessons are also a wonderful compliment to any training class (see the hybrid version, for instance).
Private lessons without handler (one on one)
$125/hr + mileage
$115/hr if two or more lessons/week
Some dogs need a little extra guidance from a handler that is familiar and comfortable working around distractions. One-on-one lessons mix-up work with play, to give the dog a break from intensive training. The owner is briefed and shown the techniques his dog is learning weekly. Frequent dog participants have been: puppies whose families work during the day. Reactive dogs, who need to get exposed safely, and frequently to triggers in order to counter condition and desensitize the dog to those triggers. Dogs in need of confidence building through training and games. Dogs, whose owners are older and unable to repeat training techniques frequently enough for the dog to learn the techniques.

FAMILY DOG
$250 for 7 weeks, indoors, 4-5 dogs
Hybrid Version Class
7 week class + two one-hr. private lessons.

Prerequisite for CS is a previous training class. We recommend new students to Tree Frog Farm schedule a private lesson
before Charm School so Liz can get to know you and your dog and assess your skills.
